All settled into an excellent house, gorgeous neighborhood, new town, but haven’t really found way to connect with new people. Read below for ideas to get out and meet new people.
- If have kids, there is always one house that all the kids hang out at. Stop by, and talk to the kids. Good way, to get indirectly introduced to your neighbors.
- Also If have kids, strike up conversation with parents who frequent the local playground.
- A person with an introverted personality type, may not assign meeting new people as a high priority. Simply interacting with local service providers such as a hair stylist can be good place to start.
- Stop by and talk to a neighbor who frequently sits on their front porch.
- Join a local service organization, or an exercise oriented running or biking club.
- Search online for a Facebook Page, web site, or other social networking site account that is specifically for your neighborhood.
